ESL Individual Level Programs consist of four levels individual programs, which do not need PTIB approval (See Notice).
Admission Requirements: Must be 15 years of age or older
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this Programs successful student will able to demonstrate competency in English language/pass IELTS/TOFEL exam.
These programs are designed to develop students understanding of English language usage who has English as a Second Language. These programs are also designed to prepare students for IELTS as well as academic English based on what level they are into. These programs consist of four levels: the English Foundation Level Program, the English Intermediate Level Program, the English Advanced Level Program and the Academic English Level Program.
Total Duration of Programs:
960 hours ( 240 hours/12 weeks per Individual Level Program )
English Foundation Level Program:
The English Foundation Program is designed to develop students' understanding of English language usage. It is standards-based, integrated-skills Level 1 series of INTERCHANGE (Cambridge Press) that empowers students to achieve their academic and career goals. The program provides learners with the opportunity to develop their language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening with regular assessment intervals and ongoing self-assessment tools to measure and track student progress. Combined with the English skills the students will learn oral and written communication and various cultural aspects that would prepare them for academic pathways and local labour market positions. Students wishing to continue their studies have the potential to enroll into other higher-level courses.
